Recently, China Automotive Evaluation released the report "Insight into the Current Situation of Air Quality in Chinese Passenger Cars in 2024", which comprehensively summarizes the new findings of air quality evaluation in Chinese passenger cars. The report points out that in the past seven years, various car models have made certain improvements in terms of indoor air quality, with an average improvement rate of 6.47%. The performance of domestic brand models is particularly impressive, with scores surpassing joint venture brands such as German and Japanese brands after the epidemic, and continuing to lead, with an overall score of about 2.2% better than joint venture brands. In addition, the evaluation results also show that the overall air quality inside electric vehicles is better than that of fuel vehicles, with an average score leading by about 1.4%.
This evaluation covers mainstream automotive products in the Chinese market in recent years, achieving full coverage of brand types, price distribution, and vehicle categories. Based on the evaluation data, Zhongqi Evaluation has put forward multiple optimization suggestions from the perspective of third-party authoritative professional institutions, aiming to provide consumers with a healthier and more comfortable riding environment.
